My incredibly artistic and selfless sister, Krissy, threw me the classiest baby shower I've ever seen. She has an amazing eye for decor and color and knows how to throw a great party!
We drew a baby on paper plates, made diapers out of toilet paper, and found out my sisters know me better than anyone.

I loved these little notes! When I got home, I read them and nearly cried. Shia is so incredibly loved already and has a great village standing with him.
I had so much fun and was over-filled with joy and gratitude for having so many friends and family that care enough about me and my sons to come and bring gifts.
I think back to an age when women in my situation were left totally destitute and I just feel so blessed by how much love and acceptance I've been shown. God has proved to me time and time again that He will supply all my needs and His plans for our family are better than I could ever dream.
