Everyone in America has been inspired by Marie Kondo and her organization techniques. So I decided to "spark joy" in my house by organizing and minimizing everything in my house. I cleaned my closets and threw out a bunch of expired medicine and vitamins. I took all my clothes and put them on the bed, touching every single piece to see if they make me feel happy or not. The biggest thing I learned from this exercise is that I hated most of my clothes and I'm in serious need of a wardrobe makeover! $$$$

My sister, Krissy, folded all my clothes just like Marie Kondo would. If you know me, you know I NEVER fold my clothes so this was a huge change. Honestly though,it's kind of depressing how much room I have in my drawers now.

Nick helped me organize my pantry and bathroom closet, everything I'm not keeping, I'm donating or recycling so hopefully nothing ends up in a landfill.

My beautiful blonde genius goddess, Amelia helped me organize all of the books and papers in my house. This was huge because I don't really read all that much, but I had WAY to many music books and sheet music that I didn't need to keep. Amelia was able to help me go through all my paperwork and get me on top of bills, warranties, tax papers, etc.

At the end of the day, I felt so incredible after my 7-hour organizing marathon. My heart, is so full from my smart and selfless friends Nick, Krissy, and Amelia, who took time out of their day to help me. God has truly blessed me with such an amazing group of friends that mean the world to me and I hope, one day, I will be able to repay their kindness.
